The next meeting of the Up North Combine will be held at the Newmarket Inn, 18667 Yonge st. Newmarket Ontario.on Sunday April 2, 2023 at 10:00 A.M.and will take place in the B! basement conference room.

This is our annual constitutional meeting and any submissions for changes must be sent to Peter Kamstra 24 Little Rebel Rd Schomberg Ont,LOG  !TO no later than March 10  2023.

Any proposed change must state the section it applies to along with the existing by-law that it will alter or replace

.All submissions will be posted on our website so that all clubs are able to hold a meeting in order to discuss them before the UNC meeting. 

All flying fees for the 2023 season must be paid at this meeting.

The cost for each series are as follows.

A series  $200.00

B series $150.00

C series $150.00

D series $150.00

All four series paid in advance $550.00

The next meeting of the Up North Combine will be held on December 18, 2022.

 at The Bradford West Gwillimbury Leisure Centre, 471 West Park Avenue.Bradford Ont.at 9:30 Am.

The meeting will take place in the multi purpose room west on the second floor,

On the agenda will be

1) committee reports and discussion

2) 2023 Race schedule

3) collection of UNC 2023 membership Fees

On the agenda will be the election of the executive for 2023, the awards presentation for the 2022 race winners, and new member applications.

On behalf of the Borden RPC we would like to thank all who came out in support of the Borden Bond open last evening and we would like to wish good luck to all.

The Up North Combine young bird flying fees are now due.

Please send a cheque payable to the Up North Combine with a list of every flyer and each series they are paying for, or hand deliver it .to Peter Kamstra  24 Little Rebel Rd, Schomberg Ont  LOG 1TO.

In addition please email the total number  of flyers your club has in the “C” series and in the “D” series to Bruce Bidon so that he can allocate the race  baskets required to each club.

The cost is $150.00 for each series and must be paid by July 11 2022.as well as your email to Bruce Bidon.

The Up North Combine Executive

The Avian Influenza restrictiuns have been extended to May 20th.Should the restrictions be lifted on that date it is the entention of the Up North Combine to ship our first old bird race on that date, Friday May 20th for a Saturday race on the 21st.The old bird schedule will be reduced from 11 races to 10 by dropping the 3rd race (North Bay)  with no break between old birds and young birds in order to accomodate the later start of the season. Due to the circumstances the races will begin with very little notice so stay tuned for an update and be ready to race.UNC Executive

Due to the outbreak of Avian Influenza in Ontario the Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued an order that  prevents The Up North Combine from starting our races as scheduled on April 30th,The CFIA will review it’s policy on May the 9th and should it not extend the order, we may ship our first race on May the13th.If the order is extended .the executive will determine what schedule changes are needed and make them accordingly. Please keep an eye on our website for further updates on the situatuion as they arise. Happy Easter to you and your Families
