Good morning everyone, A02 North Bay birds were released at 8:00 am into mainly clear skies with a 13 km/h N wind and a temp of 12 deg.  B02 North Bay birds will be released at 9:00 am.  Good luck to all.

Shipping for the A01 and B01 Dunchurch races on Saturday May 21^st has been cancelled. The weather looks like it should clear for a potential Monday race so please check back tomorrow for further instructions regarding a Sunday shipping.

Old Bird racing is a GO!!! The following has been posted by the CRPU.

Let the races begin in Ontario after May 20th. The CFIA and OMAFRA thanks our membership for following the order and appreciate our sport stepping up and having a concern for the poultry industry. This Avian flu was a different strain from 2015 and has been more widespread. We thank each one who adhered to the order and are thankful it is over and we can get back to racing our birds in Ontario. Good luck to everyone!!!!!

The Avian Influenza restrictiuns have been extended to May 20th.Should the restrictions be lifted on that date it is the entention of the Up North Combine to ship our first old bird race on that date, Friday May 20th for a Saturday race on the 21st.The old bird schedule will be reduced from 11 races to 10 by dropping the 3rd race (North Bay)  with no break between old birds and young birds in order to accomodate the later start of the season. Due to the circumstances the races will begin with very little notice so stay tuned for an update and be ready to race.UNC Executive
